Hello Missoula GIS Coffee-talkers,

Based on some significant interest from our group, we are having our next coffeetalk on the beautiful campus of the University of Montana on Wednesday afternoon, April 13th from 2:00 – 4:00PM in Room 326 of the University Center. Enclosed is a map of the campus for those unfamiliar. There is parking adjacent to the UC and Continuing Education Building, including a parking garage to the south.

Since we’ll be on campus we will have an “open mic” for UM students from any department utilizing GIS in their projects and/or research. We will have a computer projector capable of showing powerpoints so students can bring their laptops if they so desire. Additionally there will be a “community” laptop available for students so they can bring their presentations on the media of their choice – CD, microdrive, etc. The use of Powerpoint is not required so students are encouraged to just show up and share with our group what they are doing with GIS. We are not an intimidating group, and as such, we expect the group to have constructive feedback and ideas for those students willing to present!

Hope to see you there,

Bryant Ralston
