Missoula Children’s Theatre Next Step Prep’ announces Missoula, Montana summer session guest artists

Missoula Children’s Theatre http://www.mctinc.org/ announced the leading guest artists for the 2011 summer session of its musical theatre project designed specifically for high school students, "Next Step Prep–The Academy for Musical Theatre." http://www.nextstepprep.org/

The six-week musical theatre intensive from June 27-August 5 offers training in acting, singing, and dancing to students interested in pursuing the performing arts as a major in college or as a career. This program provides practical training and advice on career development but takes training a step further than most summer offerings by providing students opportunities to work with performing arts professionals who have real world experience.

Among the guest artists scheduled to return this summer are Tony Award-winning Broadway composer Jason Robert Brown and Alexander Gemignani, whose Broadway credits include playing Jean Valjean in "Les Miserábles."
