Missoula Children’s Theater Summer 2009 Newsletter

Dear MCT,

My 13-year-old daughter, Macaindra, has had the
pleasure of being cast in 11 MCT http://www.mctinc.org productions in the past
seven years – first as a kindergartner!

MCT has literally changed her life. Macaindra was a
quiet, retiring six-year-old, and I vividly remember her
crammed in the corner of the circle during her audition,
quietly answering Brett and Heather when they asked her
to spell her name! Fast forward 7 years – now Macaindra
is an outgoing performer who loves singing and acting
– in fact, she wants to be an MCT Tour Actor/Director
(TAD) when she grows up!

I have seen hundreds of children at our school and in the
community go through MCT, and it’s incredible to watch
them grow. Many of them are in the arts programs in high
school because of their positive MCT experiences. I was
so impressed by the program that I became a Presenter,
heading up the program for six years. MCT literally
transforms lives. Thank you from a grateful parent and
PTA volunteer on behalf of hundreds of Nevada students!
