Missoula banks, businesses prep for new microchipped credit cards

Merchants will be required to accept new credit cards containing microchips starting on Thursday.

This means customers will soon be seeing new card readers where you insert the card, instead of swipe. Missoula Federal Credit Union alone says they will re-issue over 30,000 new chipped cards to customers.
