The Montana Cooperative Summit is hosted by the Montana Cooperative Development Center and Montana Council of Cooperatives, in partnership with Montana Farmers Union and Lake County Community Development Corporation. The Summit is focused on bringing education and training to existing Cooperatives and the education about the cooperative business model to community and business leaders across the State. The Summit will engage all attendees to look at alternative solutions, find new networks, and go home inspired to work on key issues surrounding all of our communities like workforce, housing, and childcare.

We have structured the Summit with three tracks:
• further training and conversations for existing cooperatives including social media, next-generation engagement, taxes and policies and more,
• sessions for public officials, community and business leaders, and economic development partners to learn about how cooperatives are addressing needs/issues of our State, and be part of overall statewide discussions and,
• joining this year, is the Montana Farmers Union youth track on Wednesday afternoon focused on leadership training and introducing the cooperative business model to the next generation.
