In this free session, you’ll learn how you can qualify for hundreds of thousands of dollars in R&D funding from the National Institute of Standards & Technology that does not have to be matched or repaid. In just one lunch hour, you’ll get up to speed on the SBIR/STTR programs, qualification requirements and the application process. We’ll touch on ways that academic researchers can participate in these small business programs. You’ll also hear about free proposal development and submission assistance that may be available to you. Of course, we’ll leave plenty of time to answer your specific questions as well.

Upcoming brown bag sessions focused on winning SBIR/STTR funding from other federal agencies include:

– National Science Foundation on Wednesday, April 8, 2015

– National Science Foundation on Tuesday, April 21, 2015

– Department of Defense on Wednesday, May 13, 2015

All sessions will be held in EPS 127 from noon to 1 p.m. Keep your eye on MATR for other future sessions.

These events are made possible through a partnership between the MSU Office of Research and Economic Development, the MSU TechLink Center and the Montana Technology Innovation Partnership.
