Layoffs, salary cuts at Missoula chemical company Rivertop Renewables

Rivertop Renewables http://www.rivertop.com/ , a bio-based chemical company on East Broadway, has laid off several employees and reduced the salaries of others as part of a cost-cutting measure.

Mike Knauf, the CEO of Rivertop, confirmed the news to the Missoulian on Thursday morning.

"We let a few people go and we have been working under reduced salary for some employees for some time," he said.
