Where are Montana’s Manufacturing Hotspots?

In recent months, we’ve reported positive news about the state of manufacturing in Montana. For example, the 2023 Montana Manufacturing Report documented strong increases in the number of manufacturing firms, the number of workers, and the wages they earn.

To kick off 2024, I decided to dive into some additional data to see where manufacturing is growing in the state.  Based on data from Dun & Bradstreet, several counties stand out as hotspots for new manufacturing firms.
