How to change what the tech workforce looks like

Major tech companies sparked a discussion this year when they revealed information about the makeup of their workforce, confirming what many had suspected: That Silicon Valley firms, located in one of the most diverse places in the U.S., are mostly staffed by whites and men.

But is anything likely to change in 2015? Or the next year, or next?
