Havre, Montana Turns Out For Meeting About Improving Downtown – Montana Main Street Program

Havre leaders are looking for ideas, and a plan, to spruce up downtown.

On Monday afternoon, a number of the city’s business, development and political leaders converged at City Hall to hear Tash Wisemiller, a community development program manager for the state Department of Commerce, discuss the Montana Main Street Program.

Thanks to efforts spearheaded by the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce, Bear Paw Development and Havre city government, if all goes according to plan, the pride of the Hi-Line could get the help it needs, mainly through grants and technical support, to spark a downtown makeover.
