Governor Gianforte, Director Clark Celebrate Archery Programs in Montana Schools

“Montana’s hunting and shooting heritage is part of who we are,” Gov. Gianforte said. “It’s inspiring to see so many young Montanans learning responsibility, focus, and respect for the outdoors through school archery programs.”

The NASP program is administered by Montana FWP in 150 schools across the state, teaching over 10,00 students safe and responsible archery skills as part of school curriculum.

During a rally held in the gymnasium, the governor, Director Clark, and FWP Educator Ryan Schmaltz celebrated the Twin Bridges students who participated in the NASP State Bullseye Championship held in March in Helena.
