“There’s an estimate that up to 80 percent of households out there are not really suitable for solar panels, so if we do a community solar project it’s just like having them on your home,” Holter told NBC Montana. “You get the credit that’s generated from the panel you buy, but you don’t have to mess with it and have it on your home.”
