INVITATION TO CITY CLUB MISSOULA 4TH MEETING

Friday, January 21, 2005

Governor’s Room – Florence Building

11:30 am to 1:00 pm

Our topic for the January meeting is:

MISSOULA’S CENTRAL PARK: A COMMUNITY PLANNING PROCESS

Planning Missoula’s Central Park, Inc. (a community planning process) is seeking a community-wide vision for the 160-acre parcel of land bounded by South Avenue and Russell and Bancroft Streets. Peter Lambros and Geoff Badenoch of the PMCP group will join us to discuss their efforts and potential options for a central park for Missoula. They are seeking feedback from the City Club as part of this community planning process.

Our presentation will be followed by discussions at individual tables and then a general question and discussion session with the speakers.

The meeting charge for January will be $10 and that includes soup, sandwiches, and salad. The charge for those who do not want lunch will be $5. Coffee, tea and cookies will be provided to all.

Doors will open at ll:30 and lunch will be served at 11:45 am. The presentation will begin at noon and will end at 1 pm. Continued discussion after 1 pm is encouraged.

Please RSVP to Tom Bensen at [email protected] or by phone at 721-9620 on or before Tuesday, December 18. Indicate if you will, or will not, be having lunch. Payment will be received at the door on Friday, January 21. Make out checks to City Club Missoula. If you RSVP and are not able to attend at the last minute, reimbursement would be appreciated.

Please share this information with other Missoula residents who share an interest in making Missoula a more connected and civic-minded community.
