Butte call center expected to hire 400 by next spring

A new call center in Butte celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday morning.

The Oregon-based call center FCR held the ceremony outside its location in the Butte Plaza Mall where it opened operations earlier this year in the former JC Penney store.

The service center has more than 200 employees and is looking to hire more for the holiday season.
