Arkansas Computer Science Program a Model for Other States. Now Arkansas is making the subject a K-12 graduation requirement.

In the six years since Arkansas mandated computer science in all of its high schools, the initiative has become a model for other states.

“The state’s strategic plan for computer science education and focus on supporting teacher development are models we share with other states seeking to achieve similar outcomes.”
