Get an inside look at two National Science Foundation (NSF) programs, the Partnership for Innovation (PFI), and Advanced Technological Education (ATE). Both programs support technology transfer efforts among two-year and four-year degree-granting academic institutions.

This event features presentations from NSF program managers on the PFI and ATE programs. Discussions include the basics of the grant programs, how to assess which program might be right for you, and how to evaluate your eligibility. Attendees will also learn about proposal preparation and the merit review process.

A representative from the Washington Technology Center will discuss WTC’s Research and Technology Development awards program, which funds academic research for collaborative projects with industry partners. In addition, Spokane Falls Community College President Dr. Mark Palek will give a glimpse of innovative programs taking place at the Community Colleges of Spokane.
