But just south of downtown, on the edge of Montana State University’s campus, is a museum that tells a different story.

The American Computer and Robotics Museum — recognized as the oldest continuously operating museum of its kind — will mark its 35th anniversary Thursday, highlighting more than three decades of work documenting the history of computing and intelligent machines.
