University students test the research field as interns at the McLaughlin Research Institute in Great Falls, Montana
August 13, 2007 /
In the world of research, where some projects may take more than a decade to finish, 10 weeks is almost nothing, but for five interns who spent their summers at Great Falls’ McLaughlin Research Institute, it was enough to give them a taste of life as a biomedical researcher and help guide them down a path to a career.
"It’s been a fabulous opportunity," said Daniel Zimmerman, who is studying biology at the University of Notre Dame. "It’s given me a lot of insight into what could potentially be a career."
