The Williston State College Foundation http://wscfoundation.com/ announced Monday morning that it will fund an additional $500,000 in scholarships for students from western North Dakota and eastern Montana.

WSC Foundation Executive Director Terry Olson said that the additional scholarship funding comes from money from mineral acres.

"The Foundation has been fortunate to have several families donate mineral acres over many years," said Olson.
