New med school interests spur questions from Montana health officials

While parties on all sides agree the state needs more practicing doctors, recent announcements from two separate groups looking into building for-profit medical schools have spurred talks about whether it’s the right model for Montana.
New Mexico-based Burrell Group announced it was planning an osteopathic medical college possibly in Bozeman, while the India-based Manipal Education Americas was looking at Missoula.
