Montana student ambassadors to head Down Under – People to People Student Ambassador Program
If the good people of Australia hold any unfavorable stereotypes about Americans, a group of northcentral Montana students are out to correct them.
Nineteen high school and middle school students from around the region are heading to the land Down Under this summer through the People to People Student Ambassador Program http://www.peopletopeople.com/OurPrograms/SAP/Pages/default.aspx . The group will see the sights and enjoy outdoor activities while learning about another culture and meeting people of an unfamiliar background.
"Were not on a ‘trip,’" said group leader Barb McManus. "We’re not on a vacation. They’re going as student ambassadors."
