Intel chief, Craig Barrett urges better K-12 schools

The United States must strengthen K-12 education and offer more corporate tax breaks to keep jobs from spilling overseas, Intel Corp. Chief Executive Officer Craig Barrett said Friday, making no apologies for offshoring.
"We hire the best people wherever they are located, and increasingly that is outside of the United States," he told 260 Arizona Technology Council members at a forum at the Arizona Biltmore & Spa. "That’s where our business is growing the fastest."
