Idaho State University wins $2.5 million in Department of Energy grants

Several Idaho State University faculty, including a young assistant professor who starts work at ISU next month, have won three U.S. Department of Energy grants worth $2.5 million.

ISU researcher Brian Williams is collaborating with Richard Schultz and Donald McEligot from Idaho National Laboratory on developing nuclear reactors that produce more energy and create less waste. The three were awarded almost $1.3 million for their project.
