Ebola vaccine might be home-grown in Montana

The cure for future outbreaks of the deadly Ebola virus could one day come from our own backyard.
That’s because as West Africa deals with the largest known case of an Ebola outbreak,researchers at Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton are studying possible vaccinations to treat it.
Various species of the virus is believed to be carried and spread by fruit bats, and it can be transmitted from one infected person to another through unprotected close contact.
