Boise State offers turnaround help to Valley businesses
Boise State University’s College of Business and Economics http://cobe.boisestate.edu/ says it is launching an effort to assist Treasure Valley businesses during the recession. The “Spring 2009 Economic Turnaround Initiative” is a plan to help 200 Treasure Valley businesses between now and May.
The college is asking local businesses to contact the college immediately to benefit from the expertise available at the university. Help will be first-come, first-served. Interested businesses should call 426-4950. “We want to make it as easy as possible for civic leaders, businesses and economic development entities to access, utilize and gain from the college’s wealth of resources,” Dean Pat Shannon said.
