City of Bozeman seeks to hire communications coordinator

The city of Bozeman is looking to hire its first-ever Communications Coordinator.

Applications are being accepted on the city’s website https://www.bozeman.net/government/human-resources/apply-for-jobs for this position. Responsibilities include: keeping communication flowing throughout the departments, announcing major changes and responding to the media.

City Manager Andrea Surratt says this position is necessary given all of the projects and development in the city due to growth.

"Making sure that the citizens know in advance when they can participate in projects and hearing about things before they happen, not only just after they happen," said Surratt.

Applications can be submitted until March 18.
