For the third time in four years, Montana drivers have achieved a dubious distinction.

For 2017, Montana drivers were once again ranked worst in the nation -- just as they were in 2014 and 2015, according to the website

Montana's worst-in-the-nation rating included rankings of first in failure to obey, second in fatalities, fourth in drunk driving, sixth in speeding and 29th in careless driving, the website states. ... aign=LEEDCC

I'm sure these rankings would change dramatically if we had roundabouts on Reserve St in Missoula (4 of the 5 worst intersections in Montana).

The state should be putting its resources into infrastructure that will encourage and accelerate the implementation of autonomous vehicles throughout the state.
