Students find eager employers at MSU Career Fair
October 6, 2017 /
One hint that this is a great time to be a college student hunting for a job or internship is to check out all the swag that recruiters brought to Montana State University’s Fall Career Fair.
The Strand Union Building was packed Thursday with hundreds of recruiters representing 185 employers. To compete for students’ attention, they set out lots of freebies — yoyos that light up, mini-flashlights, caps, mugs, fidget spinners.
Giveaways were big during the dot.com boom, when Microsoft handed out cool bouncing balls that lit up and another company gave away screaming monkey slingshots.
