Great Falls, Montana struggle to find teachers

This week marks the end of the first quarter for Great Falls Public School students. But for some teachers, the school year is just beginning.

Administration had a difficult time filling all open teaching positions before the school year started. Substitutes were tasked with teaching full classrooms until a permanent teacher could be found. Full-time teachers across the district stepped in to help the subs write lesson plans and manage their classrooms.
