Business Angel Investing Groups Growing in number and importance in North America

This is a white paper generated from a first meeting of several principals involved in Angel Groups. They at MIT last spring to explore the relatively recent explosive growth of more formally structured angel investing groups across the North America, three to four times as many as existed just five years ago.

Their objective was to begin to identify the operational structures and processes with an eye to helping define best practices in angel groups. This is their report. Further meeting among an expanded group are planned for the future.
