Festival, filmmakers pump up Idaho economy with jobs, revenue

Big budgets and big salaries for stars with big egos have rendered the "million-dollar movie" all but obsolete, but changing technology means low-budget films could have a shot at success.
That could mean a shot in the arm for Idaho’s economy, especially if a growing group of industry professionals is successful in their attempts to woo filmmakers to the state.
