Very often, researchers, many of whom may be well meaning, plan projects that involve Montana tribal members without asking for the tribe’s permission or seeking their feedback.
To close out the National Rural Women’s Summit in Greenville, South Carolina, six women shared stories of working to encourage, build and strengthen their rural communities.
