Detective Guy Baker
Missoula Police Detective; FBI Task Force Officer
City Club of Missoula Presents:
Commercial Sexual Exploitation: Identifying and Addressing Human Trafficking in Montana
Detective Guy Baker will discuss current trends involving the crime of sex trafficking and efforts by law enforcement to address the issue in our community. Most people think of modern day slavery as a crime that only occurs in foreign countries or in large cities in other states, but it’s happening in numerous cities across the state of Montana. Baker’s presentation will educate attendees about the indicators to assist in the identification of potential victims and to enlighten them to the unfortunate realities faced by the victims of this criminal epidemic that currently ranks second, only to the illegal drug trade as the largest international crime industry in the world.
