Wyoming’s population drops for the third consecutive year

For the third straight year, the rate of Wyomingites leaving the state has outpaced the number of residents coming into it, new numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau show.

On a more positive note, however, the rate of outmigration has slowed over that period, with Wyoming experiencing the sharpest increase in residents entering versus those leaving the state since 2010-2011.
