Wyoming announces $225M in COVID-19 relief for businesses and nonprofits

Starting Tuesday, Aug. 4, $225 million of the federal coronavirus relief dollars from the CARES Act will be available in the Cowboy State, Gov. Mark Gordon said in a Thursday news release.

In its Relief Fund, The state has set aside $50 million for businesses and nonprofits required to close by public-health orders and an additional $125 million for COVID-19 related expenses and other losses related to public-health orders, according to Gordon. Businesses that employ up to 100 workers are available for grants of up to $300,000.
