Workplace Coach: In tough times, lead — and listen

Bear Paw Development Corporation is a private non-profit organization created for the purpose of administering programs to help improve regional economic conditions in Hill, Blaine, Liberty, Chouteau and Phillips Counties and the Fort Belknap and Rocky Boy's Indian Reservations.

As an executive coach, I always have my eye out for leadership "best practice" examples. The news often draws attention to the bad examples (such as the recent million-dollar office renovations and bonuses being awarded during Wall Street’s meltdown and subsequent government bailout). I want to share some positive examples from recent local news (and one from afar) that I believe we can learn from.
