Women’s Statewide Mentorship Group Open for Applications

Prospera’s women’s statewide mentorship program application portal is now open and will close on December 8, 2024. Prospera is looking for mentors and mentees to participate in the next cohort of 56Strong. 56Strong connects women entrepreneurs and business leaders from all of Montana’s 56 counties through a one-on-one mentorship program.
This six-month program is designed to:
- Bridge the gap between the urban and rural divide
- Support female entrepreneurs looking to grow their businesses
- Increase female businesses across the state of Montana
- Help women gain access to capital
- Support and build resiliency among female professionals
The next 56Strong cohort will run from January through June 2025. Requirements for program participation and applications are available on Prospera’s website at prosperamt.org.
In the previous two cohorts, Prospera has supported 152 Montana women through the program in 28 different counties. Because of participation in 56Strong six new Montana women-owned businesses have been created, 12 new jobs were created and participants have recorded an increase in $1,5551,100 in capital for business needs and growth.
