Why “Complete Streets” (people-first vision) was doomed from the beginning

It’s a hollowed-out shell of its goals. We get over-engineered streets that may look efficient on paper but are woefully inadequate for putting people first above vehicles.   Carcatecture (Our built environment lives based around the car)  must end.
