Responding to last month, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued .

The agency now advises vaccinated Americans to “wear a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission” in order to “reduce the risk of being infected with the Delta variant and possibly spreading it to others.”

In defense of its recommendation, and asked, “If vaccinated people can spread the virus, shouldn’t everyone wear a mask?”
