Ski town economics are a harbinger for America’s struggling middle class

The typical price of a home in Park City tops $1.8 million these days. Local workers “are not moving down the street or down the block to another condo. They are moving out of town or back … with their parents,” Becca Gerber, a Park City Council member, said in November.
