What is your “Power of Place” story? Tell Us Something April News

Tell us Something

From Yellowstone rivers to Alumni spotlights

[approximately 9 minute read time]

In this month’s newsletter, we explore “The Power of Place”, beginning with a harrowing personal story from the confluence of the Lewis and Snake Rivers. This theme anchors our upcoming June 16th event at Bonner Park, and we are officially calling for storytellers to pitch their own narratives.

Beyond the stage, we’re gearing up for Missoula Gives on April 30 and May 1, a vital 24-hour window to support the “living archive” of our community. Inside, you’ll also find tickets for June, details for our May 10th workshop, and an inspiring Alumni Spotlight on storytellers Jim Ambrose and Kristi Hager.

Think about the Power of Place because it is our theme for the June event. We are looking for storytellers for that event. Do you have a Power of Place story that is ready to be told? You can pitch your story by calling 406-203-4683. Our Deaf friends can pitch their story by emailing [email protected].

And Thank you to everyone who donated to Tell Us Something on my birthday last month. I’m very grateful for that. You melt my heart!
