USDA to offer funding for rural, low-income families and many other grant programs

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced that it has funding available until the end of September for "very low- and low-income individuals and families" seeking to purchase or repair a home in a rural area.

Financing is available via the USDA’s Direct Home Loan Program to applicants that fit the above qualification that are unable to qualify for traditional financing. No down payment is required, though applicants must meet income and credit guidelines and demonstrate repayment ability.
