Updated: MSU tries again to bring Maya Angelou to Bozeman

Update at 5:42 p.m.: Montana State University is working to bring acclaimed writer Maya Angelou to speak in Bozeman on Sept. 13, the MSU Leadership Institute http://www.montana.edu/leadership/ has confirmed.

"We are thrilled," said Carmen McSpadden, institute director, calling it "a very special opportunity for our town."

Ticket, venue and contract issues were still being worked out Thursday.
