University of Montana shares report on traumatic brain injuries with NFL, GE

Concussions in sports remain a serious concern across the world. Athletes continue to get bigger, faster and stronger which increases the risk for traumatic brain injury.

Recently the NFL has seen players retire over long term concerns, but research is being done across the country to study blood-based biomarkers within the brain to determine a return-to-play protocol.
