University of Idaho professors experiment with nanotechnology

Two University of Idaho scientists are working to get a big bounce in real-world applications with tiny springs.
David McIlroy and Giancarlo Corti are building nanosprings that might be used for such things as DNA analysis and nanospring-based gas storage tanks for hydrogen-fueled cars.
