UM business school offers crash course on start-ups
Maybe you’re writing your thesis for a master’s degree in fine arts and you suddenly get an idea to start a poetry-slam cafe. Or you’re in law school and want to hang up a shingle.
The only problem: You have no clue how to start, much less run, a business.
The Business School at the University of Montana has just the package for you.
It’s an intensive six-credit summer seminar called the Montana Business Development Initiative, open to anyone. It amounts to a crash course in entrepreneurialism, said instructor Clyde Neu.
