‘Turning points’: Montana’s Bridger Aerospace (Sen. Sheehy) refinances debt, sells HQ in $380M deals

Gallatin County approved the bonds for the aerial firefighting company in 2020. Bridger was founded by now U.S. Sen. Tim Sheehy, R-Montana, in 2015. Sheehy stepped down as CEO and chairman of the company in 2024 during his successful Senate challenge of incumbent Democrat Jon Tester.

For the second quarter of 2025, Bridger reported assets totaling $279 million and liabilities totaling $236.7 million. The company posted Q2 2025 revenues of $30.8 million — up from $13 million a year ago.

Bridger posted a $308,000 profit for Q2 compared to a $10 million loss for the same quarter a year go, according to the company’s earnings report.
