Town Pump Foundation Will Award $750K to Montana Volunteer Fire Departments – Applications Open

The Town Pump Charitable Foundation provides substantial funding to support volunteer fire departments and first responders in Montana, periodically offering dedicated grant cycles of up to $750,000 to help them cover costs for equipment, training, and clothing.
The Foundation awards dedicated Firefighter Equipment Grants and EMT & Ambulance Service Grants. These funds frequently cover:
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
  • Hoses, thermal imaging cameras, radios, and gas monitors
  • Emergency medical and quick-response tools

How to Apply:
  • Applications for their general and community assistance grant programs typically run from early spring to late in the year.
  • Fire departments and qualified first responder units must complete an application through the online Town Pump Foundation Application Portal
