Tips for online job searching. The game is changing

Job seekers have had to shift behaviors more than once during the past few years. For one thing, the polite, waste-of-space traditional cover letter and boring, boilerplate résumé aren’t effective anymore.

Today, it’s less important to recount all of your past duties than to communicate how you made your mark at each assignment. Networking also has become a hugely important part of a typical job search. Sending out a boatload of résumés and waiting for a response no longer is the name of the game.
