Subject: Congratulations on winning the CABLE Prize!
Dear Hugh,
Congratulations! Your team has been selected as a winner of the first stage of the CABLE Conductor Manufacturing Prize. We had a very strong field of submissions and have chosen yours to be among the winners – and thus believe in the great potential of your innovation!
We anticipate that Stage 2 of the CABLE Prize will be kicking off before the end of the year.  In Stage 2, we will ask that competitors produce a microscale sample (1-gram minimum) of their enhanced conductivity material and submit it for electrical conductivity testing. As a Stage 1 winner, you will receive a stipend to cover the cost of testing as an incentive to continue into Stage 2. More details on both the Stage 2 rules and testing logistics/requirements will be provided to teams soon.
In addition, we encourage you to sign up for the CABLE initiative mailing list by writing to [email protected] (or go to cable-bigidea.anl.gov) to keep up to date on other CABLE activities such as our second annual workshop, SBIR and other CABLE related FOAs and receive notice of new CABLE publications.
To claim your prize, please complete and send to [email protected]  the following paperwork by October 22, 2021:
  1. W-9 (must match name on ACH form)
  2. ACH
  3. Prize Acceptance Form
Information regarding payment details of your prize money will be sent shortly. Comments on your submission from our judges will also be shared with you soon. We encourage you to use these comments to improve your submission for the next Stage.
Once again, we would like to offer our congratulations to you and your team for being selected as a winner this round. We are excited to see your further develop your innovation in the coming year!
Happy National Nanotechnology Day,
CABLE Conductor Manufacturing Prize Administration Team
